What a great time we had at class this week! Lots of new people trying out Irish Dance!!

With so many new people, I thought I would take a moment to cover a few anagrams we use in class and give a few links of where one can buy shoes and socks.

Anagrams

DARB(T)=Dressed And Ready By (Time)
This is generally 30 minutes (however it can be more for different performances)  The expectation is that you are at the VENUE ready to go on stage at DARBT; not arriving at DARBT and then getting dressed, so you will likely have to arrange enough time to make sure you are DRESSED by DARBT.

TBA=To Be Announced or TBD=To Be Determined
These both are ways to tell you that more information is coming, and when we get the information, we will pass the information on. At the end of the day it's for all you planners out there (like me who has things planned 2 years in advance), or the not so planners to get the date or event on your radar/calendar.

Ghillies/Irish Dance Shoes and Socks

These are two good places to get shoes from and they really know their stuff. Contacting them before you buy is a great way to avoid mistakes.

Another way to get shoes is at some of the Competitions. I like buying at competitions, but sometimes the selection is not great and the prices can be a little more than on some websites. The plus side is you can try on and determine the size.
